This comic was great, needless to say.
The art (by Jeremy Haun) was cool and the feel of it definitely fit the comic itself. Now, I’m not entirely sure what was going on in this comic, but it kept me damn interested. The juxtaposition of the dialogue was a little hard to follow because it jumped around so much, and a lot of names were being thrown out there so it was a little hard to follow—but even so, this comic was pretty awesome.

Plot
Miu Sakurai is a high-school girl who is ashamed of her childish features, and believes they keep her from being noticed by her crush, Shion Amamiya. After praying in church has no results, she uses an old book she found to read an incantation that grants any wish, not really believing it will work. The spell summons Satan, who demands her virginity as the price of her wish. Miu is reluctant to agree, and tries to avoid him, but he claims he has already granted her wish. The spell doesn't work, however, due to Amamiya's being a Christian, so Satan turns himself into a high schooler named "Kai", and changes the memories of people around her to become her older brother. He also changes his crow Marupasu into a small boy named Tsubasa to be her younger brother. Miu grows confused as Satan continues to both seduce and hurt her, while claiming he will give her Amamiya's heart.
Amamiya's followers are upset by Miu's seeming to grow closer to their idol and bully her. Satan initially watches, intending for Amamiya to rescue her, but when Amamiya doesn't arrive in a timely fashion, he uses his powers to allow Miu to defeat her bullies. Amamiya arrives afterwards and is upset at her use of violence. Despondent and certain Amamiya now hates her, Miu finally gives in to Satan's demands and agrees to give him her virginity. Satan says he will take it on the night Amamiya confesses, then proceeds to help her win Amamiya's love. Along the way, Miu finds her heart thrown into confusion as she develops feelings for Satan. Amamiya's eventual love confession doesn't thrill her as she expected, and she realizes that she is in love with Satan. After school, Satan finds her in the church to begins making love to her, but is surprised to find her crying as she asks if he really will leave her afterwards and begs him to make her forget him.
Amamiya, having realized who Kai really is, breaks into the church and impales Satan with a sword. It is revealed that Amamiya is actual the archangel Michael, the only other person besides God to wound Satan. Having foreseen Satan's coming, Michael had assumed the form of Amamiya in order to wait for him. They battle in the church, and Satan is wounded after Miu tries to stop the fight and protect him. Michael prepares to send Satan back to Hell, but as he collapses he promises to take Miu's heart with him and tells her that he loves her. Miu runs to him and begs him not to leave, pledging her eternal love if he will stay with her. Michael admits defeat as he can not fight love. As he leaves, he says he hopes Satan will return to being the beautiful angel he once was. Alone again, Satan reverts back to his human form to claim Miu, but she faints from the excitement before they can finish.
In the morning, Miu wakes up to find people have forgotten her "brothers" Kai and Tsubasa. At school, she finds that Satan has now become her biology teacher, still using the same name. Tsubasa is now in her class as a high school student and assigned to protect Miu from any danger. Michael/Amamiya summons Seera, a half angel-half demon, to Earth and tells her about Satan being in love with a human woman. She summons Satan back to hell, infuriating him. Taking Miu along, he returns to Hell. Miu is hurt to learn that Seera is Satan's sex friend and runs off thinking Satan was toying with her again. Satan kicks Seera out of his throne room after telling her he will not have sex with her again.
Satan has Miu found and returned. After a bath, she is taken to his bedroom where Satan claims her repeatedly while Seera furiously listens outside. When they return to Earth, Seera follows and turns herself into a high school student at Miu's school. Michael asks her to partner with him, saying he can force Satan back to hell, but Miu must not be harmed. Seera attempts to get Satan to have sex with her, but he toys with her and warns her that she is just a toy and should obey. With her clothes still torn, Seera goes to Miu and claims Satan slept with her and that Miu is just a sex friend like her.
Michael finds Miu crying in a class room and kisses her, which Satan sees. After smashing the windows, he leaves. Miu follows but Satan is furious and tells her that he will call the Sabbat, a gathering of demons where he slept with Seera for show, and that Miu must attend to receive her punishment. There, he calls Miu from the crowd to be his consort and begins to take her in front of the gathering. Crying, she swears she has no betrayed his love, and Satan permanently closes the Sabbat then takes her inside where he makes love to her while calling telling her she is "precious."
Satan asks Miu to come to him with hell and become his wife, which would require her to die. He returns her to her room to think about it. Uncertain if she wants to leave her family and friends, she finds herself at the bookstore where she bought the magic book and learns that the book had been waiting for her and her meeting fated. Miu runs out of the store to find Kai, but iron beams fall from above and kill her. Michael, having realized Seera planned to harm her, arrives to find Death ready to take her soul to the realm of the dead, where neither angel nor devil could find her. He refuses to allow her soul to be taken, and uses his powers to disperse death. Satan discovers people have now forgotten Miu and Amamiya, as Michael erases Miu's memories and takes her to heaven to spend eternity with him.
After killing Seera for killing Miu, Satan goes to heaven to retrieve her. Though Michael attempts to woo her, Miu can't accept him, though she isn't sure what she is trying to remember. Satan arrives and as he and Michael battle, Miu's memories return and she runs to a badly injured Satan, growing wings of her owns and she covers him. Michael opens the way back to Hell for them, accepting that Miu will only be happy with Satan. At the end of the series, Miu leaves her life behind and joins Satan in hell where she becomes his wife.

Air is an ongoing series and G. Willow Wilson explained her plans: "I have a solid detailed topographical map for the first year and a half and a loose hand-written treasure map for another couple of years. If this follows the four year model that has become typical of good Vertigo series lately, I'll be happy, and I've got ideas to fuel the whole run."[2]
Wilson has also discussed the influences on the story, which partly comes from her non-fiction, journalistic work, but may also have been precipitated by one specific incident: "The concept behind Air came from Wilson’s own experiences after being grilled by a flight attendant in Amsterdam for the many visas in her passport."
Plot
Blythe, an acrophobic flight attendant for the fictional Clearfleet Airlines, is invited to join the "Etesian Front", who claim to be an anti-terrorist organization. The Etesians trick Blythe into transporting plans for a terrorist attack. When she discovers this, she and a man named Zayn are kidnapped and taken on board the plane that is the hijack target. Later, Zayn and Blythe leap clear of the plane as it crashes into the sea. The head of the Etesian Front, a man named Benjamin Lancaster, also survives. Zayn is later accosted by Lancaster in Narimar, a place that ostensibly disappeared from maps during the 1947 Partition of India, and interrogated as to the whereabouts of an Aztec artifact. Blythe follows him to Narimar, where she is designated by the Etesian Front a "hyperpract", that is, someone with the power to move into different dimensions or realities. The three escape Narimar, while their plane is followed by a mysterious winged serpent.

Ikuru is going to die soon. He lives today, because of another girl's body parts that were grafted to him long ago. The parts that had once saved his life now threatens to take it away. Weighed by the pain and loneliness of his condition and his dilemma, he decides to request the companionship of an AGH-RMS, an "Ai-Ren." These artificially generated humans have their personality and disposition artificially engineered to specification. Their origins are a mystery, but they currently serve to comfort terminally ill patients.
When Ikuru's AGH-RMS first arrives, he is surprised by her decisively childish naivite. He names her "Ai" and rediscovers life, love, and how moments he once took for granted can take new meaning when shared with someone else.
However, the futuristic human society seems to be on the edge of an unavoidable apocalypse while Ikuru and Ai live in their own sweet little bit of paradise. Ikuru finds solace in Ai's love, but AGH-RMS can only maintain their engineered persona and memories for a short time. Ai faces death as well.

Created by Gardner Fox, Adam Strange is reminiscent of Edgar Rice Burroughs's John Carter of Mars series. Both characters have origins in which they are chased by threatening aboriginal peoples only to find themselves mysteriously transported at the last moment to distant planets where they become heroic figures. In Carter's case this is to Mars, while Adam Strange is transported to Rann, though the John Carter stories depict a more raw sort of adventure that includes swordplay, physical action, nudity, and bloodletting. These are absent from the Adam Strange stories; however, both characters long to travel to a strange world to fight alien opponents and be united with a beloved woman who resided there.
Like most other comic book science fiction stories of the 1950s, the problems and their stories are contrived, the solutions often based on haphazard application of simple scientific principles. After the initial run in Showcase, they move to Mystery in Space (#53-100, 102), drawn by Carmine Infantino and most often inked by Murphy Anderson (although Bernard Sachs, Joe Giella and Sid Greene did a few issues each). As of #92, Jack Schiff replaced Julius Schwartz as editor of MIS and Lee Elias became the artist for Adam Strange. He later appeared in Strange Adventures (reprints in #217 through 244, except for #222, which instead had a new story with Strange, written by Denny O'Neil, while #226 had the addition of a new Strange text story, by Fox, with illos by Anderson).
One award-winning story, however, resulted from a continuity gaffe in the Justice League of America comic book, in which the Flash mentions Adam Strange as a possible new member for the Justice League, a group he had not met and who could not have heard of him, as all his heroics took place on Rann. When a letter to the editor reported this, Gardner Fox wrote a story showing how the JLA came to Rann and how Adam Strange got them out of the traps that Kanjar Ro set for them there.
For years, the character was a regular presence in the DC Universe. By the 1980s, the acclaimed author Alan Moore provided a more cynical reason for his visits to Rann. Apparently, the population of the planet, the majority of whom viewed the Terran with contempt, is sterile, and the real reason for Adam's presence is to be a breeding stud. This new situation is further illustrated in a 1990 limited series where Adam learns of the population's opinion of him and Alanna died giving birth to their daughter Aleea. In JLA #20 (July 1998), Alanna is revealed to be alive, and, at the end of the story, she is reunited with her husband and daughter, albeit briefly, as Adam is transported back to Earth soon after Alanna's arrival.

2000 AD is a weekly British science fiction-oriented comic. As a comics anthology it serialises a number of separate stories each "prog" and was first published by IPC Magazines in 1977, the first issue dated February 26. IPC, later Fleetway, continued to produce the title until 2000, when it was bought by Rebellion Developments. Due in part to its weekly publication schedule, it is one of only a few comics to surpass 1,600 issues.
It is most noted for its Judge Dredd stories, and has been contributed to by a number of artists and writers who became renowned in the field internationally, such as Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Grant Morrison, Bryan Talbot, Brian Bolland and Mike McMahon.

2000 AD has been a successful launchpad for getting United Kingdom talent into the larger American comics market, and has also been the source of a number of film licences. Unlike earlier weekly titles, 2000 AD was based on a 6 page strip format. This gave the writers greater opportunity to develop character and meant that the artists had greater scope in designing the layout.
A long-running joke is that the editor of 2000 AD is Tharg the Mighty, a green extraterrestrial from Betelgeuse who terms his readers "Earthlets". Tharg uses other unique alien expressions and even appears in his own comic strips. Readers sometimes play along with this: for example, in prog 200 a pair of readers wrote to Tharg claiming that they preferred to be called "Terrans"; the resulting controversy ended in Tharg's accepting a challenge for a duel at a galactic location.
Another running joke is Tharg's supposed use of robots to draw and write the strips — some of which bear a marked resemblance to actual writers and artists. A fictional reason for Tharg to use mechanical assistance was given when the robots "went on strike" (reflecting real-life industrial action that occasionally halted IPC's comics production during the 1970s and 1980s). Tharg wrote and drew a whole issue himself, but when he ran it through the quality-control "Thrill-meter", the device melted down on extreme overload. The offending issue had to be taken away, by blindfolded security guards, to a lead-lined vault where there was no danger of anyone seeing it accidentally.

Style
Both the writing and artwork in 100 Bullets exemplifies the noir and pulp genres. It presents morally ambiguous stories with dark realism. Consistent with noir convention, most of the characters are deeply flawed.
Influenced stylistically by films such as Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, Bryan Singer's The Usual Suspects, Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Paul Thomas Anderson's Hard Eight, and by authors like Elmore Leonard, Eddie Bunker, Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler.
Plot
The initial plot of 100 Bullets hinges on the question of whether people would take the chance to get away with revenge. Occasionally in a given story arc, the mysterious Agent Graves approaches someone who has been the victim of a terrible wrong, and gives them the chance to set things right in the form of a nondescript attaché case containing a handgun, 100 bullets, a photograph of a person, and irrefutable evidence that this person is primarily responsible for their woes. He informs the candidate that the bullets are completely untraceable: any police investigation that uncovers one of them will stop.
Though all of the murders enabled by Agent Graves are presented as justifiable, the candidates are neither rewarded nor punished for taking up the offer, and appear to receive nothing other than closure for their actions. Several people have declined the offer. This is later revealed to be only a minor part of a much wider story.
Agent Graves was the leader of a group known as "The Minutemen". Although somewhat related to the civilian riflemen who fought in the American Revolution, Graves' group were also the enforcers and assassins for the shadowy organization known as "The Trust". The Trust was originally formed by the heads of 13 powerful European aristocratic families who made an offer to the kings of Europe to abandon the "Old World", where they had considerable influence and holdings, in exchange for complete autonomy in the still unclaimed portion of the "New World". When England ignored this proposition and colonized Roanoke Island late in the 16th century, the Minutemen were formed. The original Minutemen, seven vicious killers, eradicated the colony and left behind the message "Croatoa" as a warning. Since that time, the Minutemen's charge has been to protect the 13 Trust families, partly from outside threats, but primarily from each other. They were betrayed by the Trust and disbanded after Agent Graves refused to re-enact "The Greatest Crime in the History of Mankind". Some of the former Minutemen had their memories wiped for their protection and were living normal, if lackluster, lives at the beginning of the story.
Many of those who are offered the chance for vengeance by Graves are actually former Minutemen, or people who have been wronged by the Trust or its agents. Trusting to luck and the importance of his "experiment", Agent Graves goes on to reactivate several former Minutemen and recruit potential new members during the course of the series, with the tentative help of the Trust's warlord, the shady and double-dealing Mr. Shepherd.
